Experience

From 2006 to 2023, Dr. Jain served as Portfolio Manager and Senior Global Equity
Analyst in DuPont Capital Management’s Global Fundamental Equity Investment Team.

 

Dr. Jain launched and was Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Global Opportunities and Global Long-Short strategies. He was also Associate Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Global Core Equity and US Core Equity strategies. His
fundamental equity analysis coverage included Global Healthcare and parts of the Information Technology sectors.
 

Prior to arriving at DCM in 2006, Dr. Jain was a Vice President in the Equity Research Department at
Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, where he covered the Biotechnology industry with a focus on small to mid-cap
companies. During his employment at Thomas Weisel, Dr. Jain played a key role in building out
biotechnology equity research coverage across market-cap size.

 

Prior to his experience at Thomas Weisel, Dr. Jain was a senior associate at Smith Barney covering U.S. Large Capitalization Pharmaceuticals. Before that, he was a senior associate following Biotechnology companies at Citigroup Asset Management.
 

Education

Dr. Jain was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester with double
majors in Biology and Religion/Classics. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stony Brook
University School of Medicine and completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Baystate
Medical Center, Tufts University. He received his Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from
Drexel University.
